Halloween Tech Deals 2026: 5 Smart Home Deals You Shouldn't Miss
Halloween is eight days away, and it's one of the busiest nights of the year for your front door. Dozens of trick-or-treaters, a porch full of decorations, and a steady stream of early holiday packages. That makes this a good week to look at doorbell cameras and smart lighting, and Amazon has cut prices on a few of the ones we track. We checked every price below on Amazon on October 23, 2026. Two of them are among the biggest drops we've seen this month, and the rest are solid but smaller savings.
1. Blink Outdoor 4 + Doorbell 2K+ bundle: the standout deal
Blink Outdoor 4 + Doorbell 2K+ Bundle
Checked Oct 23, 2026: $30.99, a limited-time deal against a $129.98 bundle list price (about 76% off). Sold by Amazon.com.
Check price on AmazonThis is the deal of the week. For about the price of a single smart plug multipack, you get a Blink Outdoor 4 camera (1080p, wire-free, rated for up to two years on the included AA lithium batteries), a Blink 2K+ video doorbell, and the Sync Module Core that links them. The doorbell runs on batteries but can also connect to your existing doorbell wiring so your indoor chime still rings. Point the camera at the driveway or side yard and you've covered the front of the house before the first knock on Halloween night.
The honest catch: Blink saves recorded clips to the cloud only with a Blink subscription plan, which costs extra each month. Without it you still get motion alerts and live view. The bundle listing is also new, with only 45 ratings (4.0 stars) so far, so there's less user feedback than on Blink's older cameras. If you want the full rundown, read our things to know before buying the Blink Outdoor 4.
2. Ring Battery Doorbell 2K: best if you want one great doorbell
Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (newest model)
Checked Oct 23, 2026: $44.99, down from a $99.99 list price (55% off) and $25 below the $69.99 we've been tracking. Sold by Amazon.com.
Check price on AmazonIf you only want a doorbell and you'd rather have the more established app, the newest Ring Battery Doorbell 2K is the pick. It records sharper 2K video with a wide field of view and up to 6x enhanced zoom, so you can actually make out faces and package labels. Two-way talk lets you tell a delivery driver where to leave a box, or greet trick-or-treaters while you're refilling the candy bowl. Install is DIY with a rechargeable battery, and it has 4.2 stars from 7,815 ratings.
Like Blink, Ring needs a paid plan (Ring Home) to save and review recorded video. You'll still get live view and alerts without one. The battery also needs recharging every few months, and busy nights like Halloween will drain it faster.
3. Govee 32.8ft RGBIC LED Strip: cheap spooky lighting
Govee 32.8ft RGBIC LED Strip Lights
Checked Oct 23, 2026: $26.99, about 10% below its $29.99 list price. Sold by Govee US.
Check price on AmazonRGBIC means the strip can show several colors at once, so you can run a slow orange-and-purple chase along a window or porch railing instead of a single flat color. The music sync mode pulses along with a Halloween playlist, and it's easy to stick up for October and keep for the bedroom or desk afterward. It has 4.4 stars from 26,818 ratings.
Know before you buy: this model is controlled over Bluetooth through the Govee Home app and with its remote. It does not support Alexa or Wi-Fi, so you can't control it away from home or with a voice assistant. The adhesive is also meant for indoor, smooth surfaces, so keep it out of the rain.
4. Philips Hue Starter Kit: the premium lighting upgrade
Philips Hue Starter Kit (Bridge + 2 Color A19 Bulbs)
Checked Oct 23, 2026: $72.99, $7 below the $79.99 we've been tracking. Sold by a third-party seller (Electronics Club).
Check price on AmazonIf you want porch and living-room lights that turn spooky on a schedule, Hue is still the most reliable system we've used. The kit includes the Hue Bridge and two White and Color Ambiance A19 bulbs, so you can set an orange porch light from 5 PM to 10 PM on Halloween and switch back to warm white the next morning. The Bridge keeps the bulbs off your Wi-Fi, supports Matter, and works with Alexa, Google Home and Apple Home.
The downside is cost: two bulbs for about $73 is far more per bulb than Govee or other Wi-Fi brands, and today's best price is from a third-party seller rather than Amazon. Weighing Hue against cheaper plug-based setups? See our Philips Hue vs Kasa smart plugs comparison.
5. Kasa Smart Plug 4-Pack: automate the inflatables and fog machine
Kasa Smart Plug HS103P4 (4-Pack)
Checked Oct 23, 2026: $29.99, under $7.50 per plug. Sold by Amazon.com.
Check price on AmazonSmart plugs are the easiest way to make dumb decorations smart. Plug in an inflatable, a string of lights or a fog machine, then set a schedule so everything turns on at dusk and off at bedtime. They work with Alexa and Google Home without a hub, and with 4.6 stars from 150,753 ratings they're one of the most-reviewed smart home products on Amazon.
To be clear, this isn't a big discount. $29.99 is about what the 4-pack has sold for all month, and it's above the $22.99 low we tracked earlier this year. These plugs are also rated for indoor use, so outdoor decorations need a covered outlet or a weatherproof outdoor plug. They're worth buying for the convenience, not because the price is special.

The bottom line
If you buy one thing before Halloween, make it the Blink Outdoor 4 + Doorbell 2K+ bundle at $30.99. It's a camera and a doorbell for less than many single doorbells, as long as you're comfortable with a subscription for recorded clips. If you just want one well-reviewed doorbell, the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K at $44.99 is the better-known choice. For the decorations, a Govee strip and a Kasa 4-pack together cost under $60. Prices were checked on October 23, 2026 and can change at any time, so confirm the live price before you buy.
