Best USB-C Chargers for Travel in 2026 (Prices Checked Today)
A good travel charger replaces a tangle of bricks with one small block that tops up your laptop, phone and earbuds at the same time. GaN (gallium nitride) chargers have made this easy: a 100W charger today is smaller than the 60W laptop brick that came in the box a few years ago. The hard part is picking the right wattage and port mix without overpaying.

How we picked
We only included chargers and accessories that were in stock today with a large number of reviews (10,000 or more each). We looked for USB-C Power Delivery, a compact or foldable plug, and enough output to charge a laptop, not only a phone. We also added one power bank and one hub, because those are the two other things most travelers end up needing on the road.
UGREEN Nexode 100W GaN Charger (4-Port)
Price when checked (Oct 12, 2026): $39.98, against a $54.99 list price (27% off) and the $59.99 we tracked earlier. Sold by UGREEN, shipped by Amazon. Rated 4.6/5 from about 11,500 reviews.
Check price on AmazonThis is the one-charger setup for most travelers. You get three USB-C ports and one USB-A port, a folding plug, and up to 100W from a single USB-C port. That's enough to fast-charge a MacBook Pro or most USB-C laptops, while still charging a phone and earbuds next to it. The downsides: you need a 100W (5A) USB-C cable to hit full speed, the 100W drops when several devices share the charger, and UGREEN notes that some Dell and Lenovo laptops won't charge at their top speed. At under $40, it's the best value on this list.
Anker 735 Charger (Nano II 65W, 3-Port)
Price when checked (Oct 12, 2026): $29.99, down from the $36 we tracked earlier. Sold by AnkerDirect, shipped by Amazon. Rated 4.7/5 from about 22,600 reviews.
Check price on AmazonIf you carry a thin laptop like a MacBook Air, 65W is all you need, and this Anker is roughly the size of an AirPods Pro case. It has two USB-C ports and one USB-A port with a folding plug, and Anker includes an 18-month warranty. The trade-off is power sharing: plug in three devices and the 65W is split between them, so a laptop will charge more slowly. It's also not enough for a 16-inch gaming or workstation laptop. For a carry-on bag, though, it's hard to beat at $29.99.
Anker Power Bank 20,000mAh (87W, Built-In USB-C Cable)
Price when checked (Oct 12, 2026): $59.99, against a $69.99 list price (14% off). Sold by AnkerDirect, shipped by Amazon. Rated 4.5/5 from about 10,200 reviews.
Check price on AmazonA wall charger doesn't help on a plane or in an airport with no free outlets. This power bank holds 20,000mAh, which is several full phone charges, and it can send up to 65W to a single device, so it can charge a laptop too. The built-in USB-C cable means one less thing to forget, and Anker says it's approved for airline carry-on. The cons: it weighs 15.5 oz, which you'll notice in a small bag, and it's $20 more than the $40 we tracked before Prime Big Deal Days. If you can wait, it may drop again for Black Friday.
Anker 341 USB-C Hub (7-in-1)
Price when checked (Oct 12, 2026): $39.99. That's about its regular price; no discount today. Sold by AnkerDirect, shipped by Amazon. Rated 4.5/5 from about 35,200 reviews.
Check price on AmazonHotel TVs and conference rooms still use HDMI, and many laptops only have USB-C ports. This hub adds 4K HDMI, SD and microSD slots, USB-A and USB-C data ports, and up to 85W pass-through charging, so you can plug your travel charger into the hub and charge your laptop through it. The downsides: HDMI is limited to 4K at 30Hz, which is fine for slides and video but not smooth for gaming, and it isn't discounted today. Our USB-C hub guide has more options.
Quick comparison
| Pick | Price (Oct 12) | Max output | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UGREEN Nexode 100W | $39.98 | 100W (4 ports) | Laptop + phone + more |
| Anker 735 (Nano II 65W) | $29.99 | 65W (3 ports) | Light packers, thin laptops |
| Anker 20K Power Bank | $59.99 | 87W total, 65W single | Flights and long days out |
| Anker 341 Hub | $39.99 | 85W pass-through | HDMI and SD cards on the road |
Which wattage do you need?
Phones and earbuds only need 20 to 30W. A 13-inch laptop like a MacBook Air is happy with 45 to 65W. Larger 14- to 16-inch laptops usually want 90 to 100W to charge quickly while you work. If you're not sure, check the wattage printed on your laptop's original charger and pick a travel charger at or above that number. Also remember that the cable matters: a cheap cable rated for 60W will cap a 100W charger at 60W.
